Wemba Wemba Consulting is proud to have links to three generations of Aboriginal Servicemen in the Australian Defence Force (ADF). We are honoured to have served, and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Our Service:
Director Russell Stewart served in the Royal Australian Air Force as a Clerk before Commissioning as a Logistics Officer. Finishing his service in the ADF Reserves, he transferred to the Australian Army with the 1st Commando Regiment (2 Commando Compay).
Ross Stewart OAM saw active service with the Australian Army in Vietnam with the Royal Australian Army Ordanance Corps 1969-70. Ross continues to support veterans and their families as the current President of the Seymour RSL Sub-Branch, and in 2016 was recognised in the Queens Birthday Honours list with the Order of Australia Medal. Ross led the team responsible for development of Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Walk (Seymour, VIC).
Roy Stewart joined the Australian Army in 1941 and fought in World War II with the 2/7 Infantry Battalion in Greece, Crete and the Middle East. Roy was captured and served as a Prisoner of War (POW) from 1941-1945.
